Glagolica AI: a straight answer on what AI would save
A Bulgarian landing page with a savings calculator and an AI advisor that will say when you don't need AI.

In one look
The problem
Teams hired to think spend the day on copy-paste between email, documents and the CRM. And an owner can't tell whether AI would help their process without booking a sales call.
What we built
A one-page Bulgarian site that answers up front. A calculator turns team size, pay and hours of repetitive work into hours saved, yearly value and payback time, with no email or sign-up. Naum, an AI advisor in the corner, is set up to ask about the process and give a straight verdict, including when AI is not worth it. A consultation form closes the page.
Where it is now
Live at ai.d9.army as the Bulgarian-language front page of a custom AI studio: agents, automation, AI apps, video and avatars, and team training. It is a launch page, one route plus the chat service, not a full product.
What this would have cost in 2024
About $6.2k and 3–5 weeks
2024 team: 2 people: a designer and a full-stack developer who writes Bulgarian copy. Built here by one founder working with AI in 8 working days.
| Piece | 2024 hours |
|---|---|
| Brand and design system: 15 mockups, locked look, logo and mark | ~50 |
| One-page responsive site in Bulgarian: sections, copy, form, SEO, mobile pass | ~62 |
| Savings calculator | ~15 |
| Naum chat advisor: interface, server route, brief, usage limits | ~37 |
| Total (PERT) | ~164 |
Method: PERT (O+4M+P)/6 per piece; low = O × $25, likely = PERT × $37.5, high = P × $50 (Accelerance 2024 Eastern-Europe band). These are estimates of what a team would have needed in 2024, not invoices.
How it was built
From first commit to current build in 8 working days
- One look, a working site in a day
Fifteen mockups in three rounds ended in one look: flat cream, ink and flag-red blocks, with the Glagolitic letter Az as the brand mark. The same day the home page sections, the Naum chat, the consultation form, the share image and SEO went in.
15 mockups · 36 commits, mostly automatic saves, that day - Mobile pass
A read-only audit at 320 and 375 px listed eight critical mobile issues, among them inputs that make iOS zoom and tap targets under 44 px. A batch of fixes followed.
8 critical findings listed - Relaunch on the CLOSER framework
From 19 to 25 September: a two-phase visual overhaul, new logo assets and a cleaner share preview, then the page rebuilt as hero, problem, outcome, calculator, FAQ and a close with the form. A boxed five-column services block became a split list.
- Security pass
A security pass on the live site, merged and deployed.
Who did what
The founder decided
- The calculator shows its result at once: no email, no sign-up.
- Naum is allowed to say that AI is not worth it for a given process.
- Naum never names a specific price or a client; money talk goes to the consultation.
- One look out of fifteen mockups; the "too bookish" and "too technical" directions were dropped and just their ideas kept.
AI built and checked
- The site, built in Lovable from the founder's briefs.
- Design directions explored as mockups in AI chat sessions, then picked by the founder from screenshots.
- Naum answers through a hosted AI model on a fixed brief: short answers, an honest verdict, no prices, no client names.
