In one look

The problem

A studio's portfolio is usually a page of thumbnails. For an XR studio that is the opposite of what it sells.

What we built

One page you travel through. A camera rolls along a dolly track between sets in a film-studio hangar: Sofia 2015, then six kinds of work, then the count of 142 shipped projects. Scroll, press Next, or drag to look around.

Where it is now

A working pilot in English, hidden from search engines. The six selected-work cards at the end have no video clips yet, and the build has not changed since 25 September 2026.

What this would have cost in 2024

About $4.7k and 3–5 weeks

2024 team: 2 people: a three.js developer and a 3D artist. Built here by one founder working with AI in 26 days, 5 working days.

How it was built

From first commit to current build in 26 days, 5 working days

  1. Remixed and re-themed in an evening

Started as a remix of an earlier eight-step 3D explainer, re-themed to VR Express, with the world and camera path rebuilt around the studio's story.

    14 commits in 30 minutes
  2. Real models and a render upgrade

A render fidelity upgrade, then six 3D models dropped in with a loader that falls back to simple shapes. Camera reframing, a services arc and an orbit around each set.

14 commits that day · 6 models served live
  3. Icons and a social card

VR Express icons, platform meta tags removed, and a 1200 × 630 social card, so the page could be shared as a link.

  4. The Backlot: a film-studio hangar

The floating-islands look was replaced by a hangar with a lighting rig, scaffolds, a dolly track with running lights and, in a second pass, stage decks, volumetric light beams, AgX tone mapping and a free-licence HDRI.

Who did what

The founder decided

  • Fidelity comes from real assets, not code-drawn shapes: an earlier hangar built from primitives was rejected as too crude.
  • The original floating-islands-in-space look was dropped for a film-studio hangar.
  • Kept as a pilot: written in English and hidden from search engines.

AI built and checked

  • The scene, copy and site shell, built in Lovable from the founder's briefs.
  • Claude proposed four visual directions for the rebuild; the founder picked the film-studio hangar.
